EAST COAST ROAD TRIP, Chapter 41:
IN WHICH WE DIG IN OUR HEELS

Day 40: Ingonish, NS.  We finally stopped, really stopped, for a day. We dug in our heels and relaxed on this beautiful beach. Temps were refreshingly cool; the sun played hide and seek all day.

The northern part of Cape Breton Island has no letterboxes, so we have no hunting to do here, giving us the opportunity to plant some boxes ourselves. That called for a bit of stamp carving today.

We told our host today that we'll be staying an additional night tomorrow. And maybe another. Hmmm... wonder if she'd like to sell this little cottage.
